On Thursday, February 16th VA Partners presented Leveraging Social Media in the B2B Sales Process to an engaged crowd at the Foundery in Toronto. This was part of the annual Social Media Week in Toronto. The presentation focused on the role that Twitter and LinkedIn can play to help the sales team grow revenue. It included the strategies and tactics that sales people can use to close more business through research, connections, and moving relationships from on-line to off-line. We discussed our experiences with B2B social media including our 70+ meetings booked with key contacts through social media and how we’ve helped organizations close over $100,000 in revenue from B2B social media.
