We have got much better at writing and formatting blogs so that they not only remain interesting to people, but also to search engines. We still have blogs that were written years ago making an appearance in our top 20 blogs at the year end. Great content can last for a long time. This year over 70% of our traffic comes from organic search.

Lead Nurturing

We will often connect with prospects through Twitter, Linkedin, or our company newsletter. These prospects will get exposed to great information from thirds parties, but more importantly, VA Partners content. We are constantly blogging on sales, marketing, social media, and inbound lead generation. Customers get a great sense of what we can do by what we write about. Our white papers are also part of our content marketing plan and are often downloaded by prospects.

Subject Matter Expertise

Being seen as a subject matter expert has helped VA Partners strengthen partnerships and help reassure our clients that we are a knowledgeable organization. This has led to speaking engagements and better access to association prospects.

Keeping top of Mind

Content marketing is an excellent way to deliver small reminders to prospects and customers. The delivery mechanism could be Linkedin, Twitter, or your regular company opt-in newsletter.These are all excellent non-intrusive ways to keep top of mind.
